This is a digital composite of five antique anesthetic masks that I photographed as a part of my internship as a Trainee Medical Photographer at the University Hospital of Wales. Photographed from twelve different angles each, this composite gives a unique perspective of the macabre beauty of these antique medical devices. The masks are part of a rare collection of items at the Mushin Museum of Anaesthetics.
